You don’t have to be fit to float. Modern water sports for everyone

Until recently, water sports were associated with achievement. People thought that in order to practice them, they needed strength, endurance and experience. Fortunately, these beliefs are slowly being forgotten. Innovative technologies allow you to swim, glide, balance above the surface of a lake or bay without the need for training and tedious preparations.

Adrenaline does not require sweat

Currently, the world of water sports offers experiences that were once reserved only for professionals. Electrically powered boards. Devices that float above the water. Personalized forms of recreation that adapt to the user, not the other way around. Sport does not have to mean excessive effort. Today, it means emotions that can be achieved in a new way: safely, aesthetically, individually. It is in this space that there is room for modern forms of water activity, which are becoming increasingly popular in Poland as well.

E-foil, e-surf, fliteboard – when technology sets you free

You don’t have to know how to swim to soar above the water. You don’t have to have muscular arms to feel the acceleration. And you definitely don’t have to be a balance expert to sail above the surface of a lake at 30 km/h.

E-foil, a board that floats above the water thanks to a hydrofoil and electric drive, is the most spectacular example of this revolution. It looks like it’s lifting you in the air and that’s exactly how it feels. And the controls? Intuitive. Simple. You can master it during your first session. E-surf works similarly, i.e. an electric board, but without a hydrofoil. This is a sport with a slightly lower entry threshold, ideal for those who like water emotions but aren’t ready for “levitation” yet. Another alternative is fliteboards – elegant, fast, safe and very responsive.

Not an athlete? All the better

It is hard to overestimate the impact of modern solutions on the inclusiveness of sports. Thanks to the fact that e-foil or e-surf boards:

  • are quiet and ecological,
  • have a low entry threshold,
  • allow for gradual difficulty,
  • offer control from a remote control in the hand,

…they can be used by both young people and people over 50. Also those who are recovering from injuries, people with reduced fitness or those who simply do not like intense physical effort.

Modern water sports that do not require fitness

  1. E-foil – an electric hydrofoil board that lifts you above the water; the most spectacular of modern activities, but surprisingly easy to use.
  2. E-surf – an electric board with high power and lightness, ideal for those who want to feel the speed without the need for waves.
  3. Hoverboard, flyboard, jetpack – devices powered by a stream of water that allow you to rise above the surface; ideal for short sessions and adrenaline without effort.
  4. Flitescooter – a more stable version of the classic e-foil, designed for beginners and people who value comfort.

Sport as an experience, not a challenge

What all these forms have in common is the shift of emphasis from competition and effort to experience. It’s about emotions: surprise, admiration, satisfaction. Relaxation and regeneration, not sweaty clothes and soreness. Increasingly, such activities appear as an element of corporate events and fun for groups of friends.

You don’t have to fight the waves to feel the adventure. Today’s technologies allow everyone – regardless of age or ability – to float above the water, slide on its surface and explore space.
