Fliteboard or jetsurf? Which water attraction is better for you?

Year by year, more and more modern water sports appear on Polish and European waters. Some attract with technology, others with emotions. Two of them – fliteboard and jetsurf – have gained exceptional popularity among our clients. Both attractions are futuristic, safe, exceptionally spectacular and offer emotions that cannot be compared with anything else. But the question I hear most often is: “What to choose? Fliteboard or jetsurf?” I have tested both solutions dozens, if not hundreds of times – myself and with clients. I will show you the differences, similarities and help you make a decision from the perspective of real, professional experience.

What is a fliteboard?

A fliteboard is an electric hydrofoil board that, thanks to an underwater wing (foil), floats above the water. Powered by a quiet, emission-free electric motor, it allows you to freely “levitate” above the surface of a lake, bay or calm sea. It is one of the most technologically advanced water equipment that is gaining fans all over the world. Riding a fliteboard is like surfing in the air. Without noise, exhaust fumes and waves.

And jetsurf?

Jetsurf is a hybrid of classic surfing and a jet ski. Although there are combustion versions, we focus on jetsurf electric, a modern board with an electric engine, remote control and exceptional power. The board moves on the surface of the water, is dynamic, fast and gives a sense of extreme freedom. It is an excellent choice for those who like adrenaline, speed and physical activity. The position on the board is more similar to wakeboard, with an emphasis on balance and maneuverability.

My experience with customers – who chooses what?

By offering both attractions, I see clear differences in the choices of customers.

  • People who are looking for peace, elegance and a sense of elevation over the water most often fall in love with a fliteboard after the first minutes.
  • Those who come for energy, speed and a dose of sporting competition usually choose jetsurf and ask about more advanced options.

And you know what? Both groups come out of the water with the same smile.

Fliteboard or jetsurf? Or maybe… both?

At many corporate events or larger integrations, we do one thing: we combine both attractions. It works great. Fliteboard gives participants a moment of peace, mindfulness and calm, while jetsurf allows them to go wild and laugh. Both boards complement each other, not exclude each other. That’s why my advice is simple: if you can – try both.

We organize individual rides, trainings and comprehensive corporate events on the water – with an instructor, belay and full facilities. Everything safely, with a professional approach and passion that cannot be faked.
